2010 Brides!

Hello one and all.  I apologize for the lack of updates, I've been busy with school work, so I've been extremely lax in updating Lolita weddings.  I will try to do better in the future with updates.  In the meantime I encourage other Lolita Brides to post stories of the planning process, their dresses, venues, flowers, anything related to both Lolita and weddings.

With the new year, comes a new set of brides who are in the planning process.  If you are one of those brides who will be having their wedding this year please be encouraged to post.

For now I would like to share with you something I did over my college winter break.  I started making bridal bouquets and centerpieces, I would like to share with you the very first bouquet I made.

The flowers I used were ivory Vendela roses with ivory spray roses intermingled.  The ribbon is just a two inch red ribbon.  I wanted to add corsage pins to the bouquet, but the pins were too long for the handle of the bouquet.

If you want to know more about flowers, I found a really amazing book about flowers called Bouquet Chic by Kimberly Kapur.  She has a lot really excellent ideas.  There is even a bouquet called Lolita.  If you get a chance pick it up.

Those bouquets are very pretty ^_^

I'll be getting married on June 5, and we are honeymooning in Tokyo. <3 I'll have to make a post with all of the details soon.
Thank you very much and congratulations on your up coming wedding. Yes please feel free to share any details.
